Economics

The big issue in the world is the economic crashes and the trouble happening on the stock market. To be honest I have seen this coming for some time not because I'm a great prophet but because the Bible says we reap what we sow.
For a long time now we have lived in the unreality of a percieved good economy. but really we have enjoyed a lifestyle of increased debt up against increasing value of our assets. this has been fine if you have assets but for the majority of the world finding a meal is a better indicator of wealth. Unfortunately for many the current climate has left the haves struggling with what the have nots have known for a long time, that money doesn't buy happiness and that if you pin your happiness to a dollar bill you will soon be unhappy as well. Matthew in the Bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto us. If only we truly believed this how different would the world be? I don't wish for economic hard times and I don't really want to be struggling either but to get a better understanding of what is really important in our world might not be a bad thing for us. True prsperity is not measured in the trappings of weath but in the depth of our wisdom and stability when the trials hit. To really judge the wisdom of a man we must first observe his nature when the provibial hits the fan.
God alone is our source and wth one foot in the grave and another on a banana skin we need to hold his hand pretty tight or risk falling on our face.

Have a great day.

Richard.

What happens when we don't hold his hand?

Do we live a miserable existence..

Or do we trip on the banana peel that God actually created?
